Awarded to graduate of Union City Community High School. Must have a 3.0 GPA or above. Must have intent to major or minor in music, music education or music history through written communication (i.e short essay describing intent and part music plays in the applicant’s life). Display a proficient in musical skills and abilities (by tape as an audition and by performing for a member(s) of the Selection Committee), must display character and good citizenship with 3 references from high school faculty, other than the music faculty. For use while attending a post high school institution for the purposes of earning a baccalaureate degree. The post high school must be located in the State of Indiana. The scholarship will be for one year. The recipient may reapply for a second year.
