Awarded to a senior boy/girl graduate of Monroe Central High School. Must meet the following requirements: academic achievement, leadership, ability, probable success in her/his selected field, and possible need. Student must rank in the upper half of her/his class. Student must have applied for admission and accepted to an accredited Indiana college or university. Student shall have been enrolled in the Monroe Central High School during her/his eleventh and twelfth years. First preference given to student who plans to study agriculture or natural resources. If no applicants with such plans who are otherwise well qualified, applicants planning to major in other areas will be considered.
