Karen Hardwick, a graduate of Monroe Central High School, worked at the school for many years, teaching responsibility, honesty, and work ethic. She was also involved in the community, active in the Parker City United Methodist Church, served on the Church Council, and assisted with VBS and Youth Group. She was also dedicated to service, spending many hours alongside the friends she made serving.
This scholarship is open to students graduating from Monroe Central High School. Applicants must write an essay about character as modeled by Karen Hardwick.
