This scholarship is open to a graduating senior who has applied and been accepted into a University, College, Junior College, or Technical School. Their proposed field of study must be in the area of 1) Home Economics Education, 2) Home Economics Specialty (i.e. dietetics, textiles, etc.), or 3) Home Economics related Health Occupation (listed as nursing, dental assistant, etc.). The student must rank in the top 50% of their class and be actively involved in school activities. Other requirements include taking at least one semester of a Home Economics course and being an active citizen (being involved in a charitable organization).
