the Community Foundation of Randolph County is partnering with four local nonprofit organizations to invest in the future of Randolph County!

Thanks to funding through Lilly Endowment Inc.’s GIFT IX Matching Grant, the Community Foundation has partnered with the following organizations for their projects:
  • Randolph County YMCA for expansion and renovation of its facilities.

  • Randolph County 4-H for construction of a new, multi-use riding arena.

  • Camp Trinity for installation of a larger septic system to accommodate more campers and enhance the amount of overnight camp opportunities.

  • Winchester Community Library for expansion of adult programming through 2028, supported by donor gifts that establish an endowment at  CFRC to sustain enhanced programming for years to come.

Each donation to an above project’s fund at the Community Foundation will receive a $1-to-$1 match up to the allocated funding, which is as follows:
  • Randolph County YMCA: $172,000
  • Randolph County 4-H: $100,000
  • Camp Trinity: $19,000
  • Winchester Community Library: $9,000 [The match for the Library has already been obtained thanks to a generous donor.]

Donations can be made via our online donation page (find the GIFT IX projects listed in the “Community Enrichment” section of the “Funds” dropdown menu) or through a check payable to CFRC with the project noted in the memo line and mailed to CFRC, 120 W Washington St, Winchester, IN 47394.
