CFRC Announces Charity Cruise, April 3-10, 2027

WINCHESTER, IN – The Community Foundation of Randolph County (CFRC) announces that its inaugural “Cruising for Our Community” fundraiser will take place aboard Princess Cruises’ Regal Princess April 3-10, 2027, in the Eastern Caribbean.

In partnership with Wood Travel Partners of Dream Vacations, the CFRC is inviting the community to enjoy an unforgettable vacation while helping create a lasting impact in Randolph County. Wood Travel Partners will make a contribution to the CFRC with every booking and will make an additional contribution for every 10 guests who book. The fundraiser marks the first of its kind within Wood Travel Partners’ new “Travel for Your Cause” program.

“Cruising for Our Community will serve as a fundraiser to support our mission of bringing people and resources together to strengthen the quality of life for the residents of Randolph County,” said Lisa Jennings, Executive Director of the Community Foundation of Randolph County. “A portion of each registration will support our Community Enrichment Fund, which has supported more than 20 local organizations over the past few years.”

The cruise includes four ports:

  • Celebration Key (Bahamas): Carnival’s new private beach destination
  • Amber Cove (Dominican Republic): Adventure-focused destination featuring waterfalls and zip-lining
  • San Juan (Puerto Rico): Historical and food tours
  • Grand Turk (Turks & Caicos): Water activities including snorkeling and stingrays

Rates for “Cruising for Our Community” start at $1,749 per person and are guaranteed through October 1, 2026. A $500 deposit per person ($1,000 per stateroom based on double occupancy) by that date locks in the rate. The price includes the Princess Plus package, which consists of onboard drinks, Wi-Fi, two specialty meal credits, gratuities, and more. The pricing also includes travel insurance, planning support, transfers, and the donation to the CFRC. Pre-night hotel and flights are not included.
