WINCHESTER, INDIANA – The Community Foundation of Randolph County is pleased to announce the availability of more than 75 scholarships to graduating high school seniors for the 2023-2024 school year. Students who will be graduating by the end of the current school year and attend Monroe Central, Randolph Southern, Union, Union City (Randolph Eastern), and Winchester (Randolph Central), as well as New Castle and Mississinewa, high schools are eligible to apply.
Once again, the Community Foundation will be using an online scholarship application provided by vendor International Scholarship and Tuition Services (ISTS). Through the online application, each student will be able to complete a single application to be eligible for multiple scholarships.
Interested students should visit www.randolphcountyfoundation.org/scholarships/ to review scholarship criteria and apply. All scholarships for the Community Foundation of Randolph County must be submitted online via the application website. The application is now available and closes on January 8, 2024.
Guidance counselors also will provide graduating seniors with a link to the application site. Some of the scholarships are based on financial need, while others have more specific award criteria. Every senior is encouraged to complete an application form. Scholarships range from one-time scholarships of $500 to renewable four-year scholarships totaling $20,000.
Randolph County is fortunate that many donors have established funds with the Community Foundation for the purpose of helping high school seniors realize their hopes of higher education. Many scholarships can be used at two-year institutions, as well as traditional four-year colleges and universities.
Scholarship recipients will be announced at their respective high school senior recognition events.
